Sure we are still in the midst of summer here in New England. However, it is never too soon to start planning your fall adventures! Here at Timbucktu RV, we not only have the ultimate selection of used RV and RV parts but also the knowledge to help your journey be the best one yet!
Here, our team presents three of our favorite fall locations that every camper should consider. Of course, there are many more, but these topped the list with foliage views.
Acadia National Park, Maine
When it comes to RV camping in Maine, Acadia National Park is (without doubt) one of the most spectacular places to visit. Encompassing many towns, like Bar Harbor, Hulls Cove, and Mount Desert, the park provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities as well as sightseeing. From mountain tops to oceanside sites, the possibilities are endless.
White Mountains, New Hampshire
Another destination that offers ample opportunities for all interests is the White Mountains of New Hampshire. From mountain vistas that provide hiking for all levels to waterfalls and crystal clear lakes, boredom is not something you will find here. However, when choosing your campsite, be sure to pay attention to the offerings. Many campgrounds offer year-round hook-ups, but you may find water and sewer availability to be limited.
Berkshires, Massachusetts
With 50 miles of trails directly off of Savoy Mountain State Forest, the Berkshires is another top destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Beyond ample hiking trails, the area provides visitors with several lakes and ponds perfect for kayaking or canoeing. If that isn’t enough, it is not uncommon to find a secluded campsite – making your adventure truly one to remember.
